The design is originally for a cardinal, but it works just fine to make a mockingjay. I really love that thanks to the pipe cleaner feet it can perch neatly on twigs (or on my reading lamp, at the moment).
Now I should just build in a recording thingy they use in talking animals... :)

I don't like how he turned out (there's a reason the doll was hidden in a bag half-finished for like a year, and he still lacks an overcoat...), so this is mostly just an excuse to post a link to the incredibly cute Torchwood Babiez comics. :)

A lovely couple asked me to make these for wedding cake toppers :)

I'm rather lazy so I'll just put here a link to the photobucket album for more pics
Her veil and his cap are removable, and both dolls have wired arms so they can hug or hold hands etc. And of course their dogs were added too, to make the family complete. :)

Resurrection is so glitchy these days - there's even two of her, all dressed but without hair. She'll have to contact Laura's wigmaker... :)
